These hedges were planted on the property line 30 years ago. Over the years they grew toward the sun. In this case, they were growing a little too far away from the property line and over the neighbor's driveway.

How much will it cost to haul all of those branches off to the wood recycler or dump? How much time will that take? Doing some simple math, it's always cheaper and requires far less time to simply shred your yard debris where it sits, in your yard.

This last weekend I delivered a wood shredder to a return customer from several years ago. They had previously rented our sod cutter, but on this occasion they were shredding a pile of branches from a tree pruning project.

I have had the opportunity to deliver and demonstrate countless equipment rentals to customers that were working on some phase of a tree removal project.  I have not had the opportunity to drop and dispose of a tree from start to finish in a way that left only firewood remaining.  What a great opportunity to spend some first hand time operating the pole saw, chainsaw, wood chipper and stump grinder.
